Create: Design and produce new theatre productions and short films in-house, collaborating with regional artists and communities.
Inspire: Deliver multi-disciplinary arts workshops in educational settings to develop the skills and behaviours of young people, whilst promoting the culture industry.
Platform: Produce new works from regional voices, through creative co-commissioning, associate artist roles and mentorship to scale-up new stories.
Through our programme of Creative Engagements, Theatre and Film - we're driving a change to the culture sector in the North of England by supporting the most disadvantaged communities with a range of opportunities.
Working only with Northern-born or based creatives and communities, we're diverting the focus away from the capital towards the most under-represented areas.
Primarily, our creative engagements take place in the North West. With our theatre and film work across the North. For classification, please see the Arts Council areas map to the right.
Promoting the work of emerging artists, in all areas of our productions, engagements and projects remains paramount to us throughout. Transitioning from a CIC to a CIO, to deepen our commitments to charitable values.
In Summer 2025, we onboard five trustees and three associate artists, to develop our offering further and re-align ourselves as a leading small theatre company. Strengthening our position for the 21st century, whilst remaining focused on our charitable endeavours.
We are committed to the Theatre Green Book and work within our own Environmental Policy and procedures on every output. In addition, we have strict EDI policies, that encourage forward thinking and best practice in the manner of continual improvement.
