CREATIVE ENGAGEMENT

Divided Culture Co & Prevent2Protect have partnered up to offer an advanced programme of creative engagement workshops, for the 10 Greater Manchester boroughs. Known as the Future Artist Initiative, the programme seeks to support the next generation of musicians, makers, crafts people and so on - through creation, education and innovation.
Working alongside a number of high-profile partners and artists, the offer of three different workshops at not-for-profit prices, shapes the next step in Divided Culture's strategy for growth. Enhancing northern towns and communities, through arts and culture, supporting young people's prosperity from the early stages.
Our workshops are targetted at Key Stages 3, 4, 5 & HE/FEs and prices are listed in our Future Artists Initiative pack below.

As an organisation built by working-class artists, we know that experience shared is experience gained. Working alongside leading film-makers, rappers, musicians and theatre-makers - we've crafted a unique programme of events that seeks to find the next generation of young people who need a helping hand into the industry.
As a direct response to recent findings that 'since 2010, enrolment in arts GCSEs has fallen by 40% and the number of arts teachers has fallen by 23%. This shift is most pronounced among state schools in deprived areas', we're taking matters into our own hands and putting art and culture back on the priority list.
