Elevating northern voices.
Championing new stories.

Disrupting the narrative.

This is Divided Culture Co.

Dan (Co-Artistic Director & Co-Founder) and Connor (Co-Artistic Director & Co-Founder) first met virtually in early 2021 at the height of lockdown. Two early-career artists with a passion for bold, new writing, they built their Zoom-hosted relationship working on their first project, Toxic. After an award-winning premiere at Greater Manchester Fringe Festival 2021, the two knew they clicked. They soon began putting plans in place for their own production company.

The artistic aim is simple - give northern artists a chance to make new stories. Working exclusively with artists who were either born or live in the north. Their approach to storytelling has one rule: make what you want to make. If stories are from the heart, they will never let you down.
